We meet the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Sardis City Water Board Office at 860 Church Street, Sardis City, Alabama. Please note that you must be added to the agenda ahead of time to address the board.

Sardis City Water Board was created in 1963. We currently purchase water from Boaz Water, who in turn purchases their water from MUB of Albertville. Our water supply source is Short Creek. It originates as surface water approximately 2 miles southeast of Highway 227 near Lake Guntersville State Park and travels to the Tennessee River. Water is pumped from this location to the Albertville Water Treatment Plant (MUB) for purification and distribution. Chlorine is added to the water as a disinfectant and the required residual is maintained to protect your drinking water from any possible outside contaminants.
